Your privacy is important to me, Lindsay Mack, and in this policy (“Privacy Policy”) we explain what personal data (“Personal Data” means any data that allows someone to identify you) Lindsay Mack LLC uses, collects, processes and shares through the website (“Site”).

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the Soul Tarot School collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “Student”) of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School.

We want you to have complete access to our policies and procedures, so that you may understand the ways you can control how we collect, use, and disclose your Personal Data. We encourage you to read this policy and contact us if you have any questions regarding the data we hold.

General information

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related activities.

The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service. Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To personalize user experience. We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School.
  • To send periodic emails. We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.

Sharing your data:

Under no circumstances is your data ever sold or rented to a third party.

Lindsay Mack LLC may share your data in the following circumstances:

  • To service providers and affiliates (PayPal, postal services) who assist in the delivery of products and services
  • To third parties if Lindsay Mack LLC believe that disclosure is advisable or necessary to comply with the law, to enforce or apply terms and conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Lindsay Mack, Lindsay Mack LLC or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
  • To quickly process your transactions.
  • To administer a promotion or other Site feature.
  • To improve our services to you.
  • To respond to your inquiries related to support, or other requests, and to send promotional emails to those that request or authorize them.

Clients and customers

What data Lindsay Mack LLC collects and where it’s kept:

If you engage in 1:1 services Lindsay Mack LLC collects your name, email address, phone number and questions relevant to the conducting of the session. This data is held within Acuity Scheduling.

If you purchase an online course or product, Lindsay Mack LLC collects your name, email address, and IP address. This data is held within Teachable, Paypal, MailChimp and/or Acuity Scheduling. The privacy policy of third-party companies applies to their collection, use and disclosure of your information.

The purpose for this information:

This basic personal data is needed in order to contact you regarding your product or service, and to monitor your progress.

You will not be added to any other marketing lists unless you have opted in to those yourself. If you are also an email subscriber, please see the Email Subscriber section below to see how your data is used in that context.

How long information is kept:

Your information will be kept until you unsubscribe or notify us otherwise subject to a Lindsay Mack LLC legitimate legal interest.

Email subscribers

What data Lindsay Mack LLC collects and where it’s kept:

We collect your name and email address when you opt in to the email list. This data is held in MailChimp.

The purpose for this information:

I, Lindsay, use this information to stay connected with you through my business, including to inform you about new resources, services, products, and offerings.

How long information is kept:

Your information will be kept until you unsubscribe or notify us otherwise subject to a Lindsay Mack LLC legitimate legal interest.

Site users

What data Lindsay Mack LLC collects and where it’s kept:

Lindsay Mack LLC may collect your IP address and information regarding your location and pages accessed. This data is collected and stored in Squarespace or Teachable.

The purpose for this information:

This data allows Lindsay Mack LLC to analyze web traffic. This analysis is about general trends rather than you as an individual, and your IP address is encoded and not visible to us.

How long information is kept:

Your information will be kept until you notify me otherwise; you have the right to be forgotten so contact me if you would like your data to be destroyed subject to a Lindsay Mack LLC legitimate legal interest.

Social Networks

If you use any features made available to you on our Site by a third party (i.e, Instagram) it may result in information being collected or shared between us and the third party.

Other Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your Personal Data with companies that perform services for us, such as fulfilling orders, sending postal mail and e-mails, analyzing customer data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, investigating fraudulent activity, and providing customer service. If you do not want us to share your information for marketing purposes, simply contact us by phone at 917-426-2811 and we will manually process your order for you, however, we may still send you service and transaction related communications.

Third parties may offer their services directly to you through the Site. In such case, you may be required to agree to the third party’s privacy policy to use the service.

Your legal rights

Under certain circumstances and depending on your geographic location, you may have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data. These include the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data;
  • Request correction of your personal data;
  • Request erasure of your personal data;
  • Object to processing of your personal data;
  • Request restriction of processing your personal data;
  • Request transfer of your personal data; or
  • Request revocation of your consent. If you revoke your consent for the processing of Personal Data, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, then you must immediately discontinue all use of our Site. In some cases, we may limit or deny your request if the law permits or requires us to do so, or if we are unable to adequately verify your identity.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, Lindsay Mack LLC may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive.

Alternatively, Lindsay Mack LLC may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

Lindsay Mack LLC try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take me longer than a month if your request is particularly complex, or you have made several requests. In this case, I will notify you and keep you updated.

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your Personal Data not in accordance with the law, and you are in the EU, you can reach out to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

California Privacy Act

Under California law, residents of California are permitted to request details on how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and would like to make a request, please contact us at [email protected].

Children’s Privacy

We do not intentionally collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, you can look at our Site, but you should not make a purchase, register, or submit personal information to us. Users Outside the United States

If you are a non-U.S. user of the Site, by visiting the Site and providing us with data, you understand and agree that the data you provide to us may be processed for the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy. You also understand and agree that the data you provide to us may be processed in the United States. U.S. laws regarding the processing of data may be less stringent than the laws of your country. By providing your data, you consent to this processing.
